چکیده

Abstract Introduction Maxillary reconstruction is often a challenging task for the surgeons because of complex anatomy. However, with advances in virtual surgical planning (VSP) and 3D printing technology there new avenue which offers suitable alternative to conventional flap-based reconstructions. Patients Methods In this article, we have described 4 case scenarios were managed help VSP additive manufacturing maxillary procedures. Use technologies aided clinician achieving optimal outcomes regards form, function esthetics. Discussion Virtual has gained lot impetus past 1 decade. These aides surgeon determining extent disease also carry out treatment planning. addition VSP, concept provides viable modalities defect rehabilitation. Increased accuracy, rehabilitation normal anatomical configuration, appropriate dental rehabilitation, decreased intra-operative time post-operative complications are some advantages. addition, patient-specific implants eliminate need separate donor site. Apart from pathologies, they can be used post-traumatic defect, where endosteal implant placement not possible. Conclusion show promising results defects.
